Corrosive Packages


Ice Qube corrosive environment coatings for enclosure air conditioners provide protection to components, such as coils and piping, against acids, solvents, salt, and other corrosive environments that may be present on the plant floor. The coating will withstand normal operating temperatures of -40deg F to 250deg F.

Ice Qube's part# CP1 option includes a baked polyester-enamel coating on the condenser coil and corrosive inhibitors applied to internal piping. Ice Qube's part# CP2 option includes the same coatings as the CP1 option plus the same coatings on the evaporator section of the air conditioner. All coating meets or exceeds ASTM specifications for aluminum, copper, and prephosphatized galvanized steel. Ask your Ice Qube representative for the ASTM specifications and listing of substances for which these coatings provide chemical or solvent resistance.

Filters


Standard Filter
Upgrade Option

All Ice Qube Air Conditioners and fan systems use PermaCool™ electrostatic filter media to keep dust and other industrial residues from clogging the condenser cooling air passages.

The filter material is a rigid/durable 1/4" corrugated polypropylene media with 10 micron filtration which retains a low resistance to airflow. The filter will withstand harsh factory environments and will not degrade over time. Simple washing or vacuuming is all that is necessary to maintain the filter media over an indefinite period of time. PermaCool's dense 3 layer, 1/4" waffle weave configuration enhances its filtration abilities and creates a rigid electrostatic air filter. Unlike other media which may compress and restrict air flow, PermaCool retains its low resistance design.

For an additional cost, you may upgrade to a 4 micron electrostatic air filter for fine filtering.

This electrostatic media air filter contains 3 layers of media contained within a 1/4" stainless or galvanized steel frame. Layer one contains waffle corrugated black with blue polypropylene. Layer three contains black 12 mil huckaback woven polypropylene. Vinyl pull tab is installed in the center of one side for easy access.

Made of polypropylene, this filter has excellent strength and is very resistant to abrasion. It is light in weight and has smooth fibers that are easy to clean. Excellent resistance to most acids and alkalis. good resistance to bleaches and solvents. Not attacked by mildew. Also good resistance indirect sunlight and abrasion. Operating temperature 180 deg; Melting 325-350 deg F. UL Class 2.
