Inset Vertical Mount Heat Exchangers
Ice Qube’s full line of Inset Surface Vertical Mount heat exchangers, otherwise known to the industry as the Blade Series and are the world’s slimmest heat exchangers. The Blade Series is designed to mount on the side, front, back, or door of enclosures/applications. Ice Qube’s full line of Blade Series heat exchangers range from 16.7-105.5 Watts/°F (29.52-189.9 Watts/°C) of closed-loop cooling capacity. At a 40°F/22.2°C temperature differential (ΔT) from the interior of the application to the ambient side this further translates to 2277.88-14390.2 Btu/h (668-4220 Watts) of closed-loop cooling capacity. Inset Surface Vertical Mount references how the heat exchanger mounts with about 50% of its thickness “inset” into the enclosure/application. Ice Qube’s Inset Surface Vertical Mount Heat Exchanger allows for a slim design all while maintaining the innovative features that the rest of the Ice Qube heat exchanger product line offers.

Closed-Loop Cooling is the process of taking heated air into the heat exchanger by a powerful blower/fan where heat and moisture are removed as it passes through the heat exchanger. The air is then recirculated back into the enclosure/application. This process of cooling maintains the NEMA integrity of the enclosure/application.
